    Nikolaus Exeli is a very arty photographer. His pictures are not about beauty or fashion; it is not his intent to make a model look her best, to make her look *pretty*. Instead his work is all about interesting colors, shapes, materials, lights and shadows.
    Makeup would often interfere with his ideas, thus being undesirable. As a result his images are wonderfully raw and pure.
